The City&Guilds/NPTC Level 3 in Forestry and Arboriculture is achieved by building up individual units. These units range from solely practical units or classroom based units with coursework to complete.
The units achieved can be built up to achieve the following:

Level 3 Certificate in Forestry and Arboriculture (30 Credits) – From £1250 (including one NPTC assessment)
Level 3 Subsidiary Diploma in Forestry and Arboriculture (60 Credits) – From £2500 (including two NPTC assessments)
Level 3 90-Credit Diploma in Forestry and Arboriculture (90 Credits) – From £3750 (including 3 NPTC assessments)

Unit 305 – Tree Identification and Planting (10 Credits) – March 11th, 12th + 15th 2019
Unit 306 – Tree Planting and Aftercare (10 Credits) – March 11th, 12th + 15th 2019
Unit 312 – Tree Pests, Diseases and Disorders (10 Credits) – April 8th-9th 2019
Unit 309 – Woodland Management (10 Credits) – April 15th-16th 2019
Unit 318 – Tree Science (10 Credits) – March 13-14th 2019
Unit 314 – Tree Survey and Inspection (10 Credits) – April 10th-12th 2019

Unit 303 – Plant Science (5 Credits)
Unit 307 – Land-based Machinery (covering Tractor Driving and Maintenance) (10 Credits)
Unit 308 – Advanced Arb Practices (covering NPTC 307) (10 Credits)
Unit 313 – Tree and Shrub Pruning (10 Credits)
Unit 315 – Tree Legislation (5 Credits)
Unit 319 – Forestry and Arb Machinery (covering options of Powered Pole Pruner, Strimmers, Stumpgrinders, Tractor Driving (10 Credits)
Unit 327 – Tree Felling and Chainsaw Use (covering NPTC 201,202,203 and Woodchipper) (10 Credits)
